Core Values -The Way We Strive To Operate
Core values are the root of what we belief and the gold standard for how we operate. There are six main values we adhere to and they provide the drive of how we operate with others in our homes and in our communities.
Core Values
Accountability
We are personally responsible and accountable to one
another for our attitude, actions, and integrity as a means of
accomplishing vision, building character, ensuring sound decision
making, and growing as balanced disciples. (Acts 15:4; Job 31:6)
Authority
The Holy Bible is divinely inspired by God and is the inerrant
authority by which God communicates, instructs, reveals, and directs our
growth and our goals. (2 Tim 3:16-17)
Community
Because we are complementary by design, we need one another. Just as the
Father, Son, and Holy Spirit are unified in purpose, we are to reflect
the nature of God by uniting through our common faith and goals. We
desire each person in our church and within our community to experience a
sense of family as evidenced by our love for one another as we gather
together in safe, transparent and authentic spaces to work through
issues of faith and life. (Acts 2:42-47; John 17:20-23; Ephesians 4:1-6)
Equity
Because the wages of sin is death, God’s
greatest act of justice is Salvation, however the gift of God is eternal
life. We view salvation as both justification by faith and social
justice as we seek the holistic transformation of individuals and
institutions. (Isaiah 1:17; Amos 5:7, 15, Micah 6:8)
Generosity
We willfully and cheerfully give our time, treasures, and talents so that other’s lives can be improved and impacted (Proverbs 22:9; 2 Corinthians 9:7)
Quality
We bring glory to God when we offer Him our best efforts and present to him our best selves. We seek to serve in a spirit of excellence knowing God requires competency and consistency in addition to our character. (Daniel 5:14; 6:3; Colossians 3:23)
